2-Layer Stretch Fabric
Our hearty stretch fabric is ideal for a wide range of mountain professional use, from ski and ride schools to mountain ops. Our fabric is tested for colorfastness and abrasion resistance of over 1,500 cycles. This fabric is rated at 20,000g breathable and 20,000mm waterproof and has a proprietary SpylonTM Super DWR coating.
3-Layer Stretch Fabric
Spyder has engineered a proprietary 3-layer stretch fabric especially for ProGear that is comprised of a stretch polyester face fabric with a PU lamination and bonded 40g tricot backing. This fabric is rated at over 20,000g breathable/20,000mm waterproof with the Dupont DWR coating. The fabric holds color beautifully and is also tested for abrasion resistance of over 1,500 cycles. It’s our most versatile fabric delivering high breathability and a full range of motion while allowing for layering underneath.
This is the perfect tool for use in all mountain operations, the workhorse of ProGear, and is comprised of an extremely durable polyester oxford fabric with 20K/20K lamination and SpylonTM Super DWR coating. It withstands extremely high abrasion and grease, while maintaining vibrant color and professional appearance.
3-Layer Softshell Fabric
This specially developed softshell fabric is comprised of a polyester stretch twill face fabric, a 10K/5K waterproof/breathable clear membrane, and a bonded tricot backing with SpylonTM Super DWR. This is the perfect fabric, providing warmth and comfort through layering, or standing alone as a lighter weight garment.
2-Layer Dobby Ripstop Fabric
A fabric specially developed for our various insulator jackets and vests, this is waterproof and breathable with a SpylonTM Super DWR coating and high resistance to abrasion. It’s the perfect fabric for lightweight and packable garments.
Non-Pill Fleece Fabric
Unlike most other fleece, our specially engineered heavyweight fleece has a smooth jersey bonded backing to reduce bunching. An extremely high non-pill rating will keep this fabric looking good after extended use, and the extra thickness will ensure continued warmth from the elements.
